Locally Manufactured Shells
Pool Services NL currently offers two fibreglass shells locally made by Islander Pools. The 12’x20’ Leisure Pool features compact steps, wrap-around benches, a 4.5′ depth, and optional hydrotherapy and swim jets. The 12’x30’ Grand Entrance is a larger shell with walk-in steps, four corner benches, a 4′ to 6′ sloped deep end, and compatibility with automated safety covers. Both are built in the province, which means shorter lead times and a product designed with the local environment in mind.
Okeanos Fibreglass Pools
Beyond the two locally made shells, Pool Services NL also offers access to Okeanos fibreglass pool shells, manufactured in Quebec. Okeanos carries a wide range of shapes and sizes, from compact 8’x14′ models to larger 14’x32′ shells. These are available with applicable freight, giving clients more flexibility when the in-province options don’t quite fit the space or budget.
Inground, Above Ground, Indoor, or Outdoor
Most fibreglass pools are designed for in-ground use. That said, two limited shell options are available for on-ground or above-ground installations. Pools can also be set up indoors, making year-round swimming a realistic option for homeowners who want more than a seasonal setup.
